Freddy Adu was a solid anchor in his first MLS playoff start for the D.C. United. Playing against the New York Red Bulls, Freddy Adu was excited to to be starting in his first playoff game and feels as though he’s a “big part of the team’s offense.”
In his first playoff start Freddy Adu had 3 shots on goal with one garnering a gasp from the crowd he lobbed it from the right side just missing a brilliant shot attempt.
The days only goal came from D.C. United’s MVP hopeful Christian Gomez on a give and go from Jaime Moreno.
Freddy Adu and D.C. United play New York once again on Sunday October 29th.
